Mindful fishy spiral exercise

This mindful fishy spiral exercise is one simple and fun exercise you can try to relieve stress and boost your well-being.

This exercise is a great way to practice mindfulness and connect with your creative side. Spirals can also have a calming effect on the mind and help to relieve stress.

In fact, studies have shown that spirals can have different effects depending on whether they spiral inward or outward. For example, inward spirals can create a sense of introspection and self-reflection, while outward spirals can create a sense of expansion and growth.

By incorporating the mindful fishy spiral exercise into your self-care routine, you can reap the benefits of both inward and outward spirals. You can use this exercise to explore your inner thoughts and feelings and cultivate a sense of creativity and playfulness.

Step 1

Before you start, slowly breathe in and out a few times to clear your head. Then, bring yourself to the present, away from all the day-to-day stress.

Grab your supplies and use your pencil to sketch a spiral shape in the center of the paper. You can make it as large or small as you like, depending on the size of your paper.

Step 2: Use your pencil line as a base to draw a spiral of fish
Step 2

Once you have your spiral drawn, use it as a base to draw fish shapes around it. Keep it simple, and don’t worry about making the fish look perfect – this exercise is about creativity and fun! You can make the fish different sizes, shapes, and colors.
