Instructions:

Step 1: Draw a few circle on your page
Step 1 – Drawing the circles

Before you start, slowly breathe in and out a few times to clear your head and ground yourself.

Start by drawing a few circles in different sizes on your paper. Let your hand flow freely, allowing the circles to take shape organically. Don’t worry about precision or perfection – embrace the beauty of imperfect circles.

Step 2: Fill your page with freeform lines
Step 2 – Freeform Lines and Neurographic Art

Next, unleash your creativity by filling the page with freeform lines that intersect and flow over the circles. This is where neurographic art comes into play. Let your pen dance across the paper, following your intuition and allowing the lines to take on a life of their own. The goal is not to create a predetermined image but rather to enjoy the meditative and expressive process of drawing the lines.

Step 3: Use your pen to round the corners and remove any sharp angles
Step 3 – Softening the Edges

Once you’ve filled the page with your intricate web of lines, take a moment to soften the edges. Use your pen to round the corners and remove any sharp angles, giving your artwork a more organic and flowing appearance. This step symbolizes the act of letting go of rigid expectations and embracing the natural flow of creativity.

Step 4: Add color
Step 4 – Adding Color and Patterns

Now comes the opportunity to infuse your artwork with color and patterns. You can choose to color the sections of the circles, creating vibrant focal points within your composition. Alternatively, experiment with different patterns and textures, allowing your imagination to guide you. This step allows for further self-expression and adds depth and dimension to your artwork.

As busy moms, it’s crucial to carve out time for self-care and creative expression. Combining circles with neurographic art offers a powerful tool for relaxation, self-discovery, and personal growth. So, grab your pen, embrace the beauty of circles, and embark on a journey of creative self-care.

Let this exercise be a reminder that creativity has the power to nourish your soul, rejuvenate your spirit, and bring a sense of joy and fulfillment into your life.

Remember, every stroke of the pen is an opportunity for self-expression, and every circle holds infinite possibilities. Enjoy the process, let go of perfectionism, and allow your inner creativity to shine.
