Do you feel exhausted at the end of each day? Do you feel guilty for taking some time for yourself? Do you constantly keep going and have the feeling that there are not enough hours in a day?
Hi, I am Line and this was me. I always set superhigh standards for myself. I had to be the perfect mother, the perfect wife, the perfect employee….
Of course this is impossible and it was never good enough. I completely forgot to take time for myself and got a little lost along the way. It finally resulted in a burnout.
That was a hard wake-up call. I had to make time for myself and needed to slow down and relax. The one thing that really helped me clear my head in these stressful times was being creative. Whether it is drawing, painting or calligraphy, all these things almost force you to concentrate on something completely different and serve as a wonderful distraction from your day-to-day worries and struggles.
A lot of people know that sleeping, walking, eating healthy and meditation can help to relief stress. But many people do not know that creativity is a great way to reduce stress as well and that it can help your mind focus and slow down.
I want to show you how being creative can help you stress less and calm your mind. Selfcare is so important and a bit of creative me-time can certainly help to recharge and helps to distract you from all the worrying thoughts in your head. I will share what helped me and give you tips and exercises to get you started.
